Bathroom with concrete look and oak
A four square metre bathroom in an older house, with a water heater that had to stay somewhere. The owners wanted a calm, raw feel without grout lines everywhere. Microcement on the walls gave that, and an oak shelf with a countertop basin makes the room feel bigger than it is.
The floor got large dark tiles with few joints, underfloor heating and the right fall to the drain.

The tricky part
The heater. It sat in the middle of the wall where the basin was going. We moved the pipes, hung the heater higher and ran the feed visibly in stainless steel down to the tap, so it looks intentional instead of hidden in a box that steals space.
