Renovation and extensions in Tingsryd and around
The houses here were built between 1900 and 1980 by people who could build but could not always afford good materials. So our most common renovation is: replace the windows, replace the cladding and add insulation, then kitchen and floors inside. We often find something along the way, a rotten sill plate or a beam resting on nothing. Then we call, show photos and say what it costs before carrying on.
Extensions we do as main contractor: bygglov, foundation, frame, roof, cladding and interior, with the same roof and the same boards as the house already has.

Good to know
Permit for an extension?
Yes, always, except an attefall extension of up to 15 m² which only needs a notification. We do the application to Tingsryd municipality.
How do you handle surprises?
They are not in the fixed price, because nobody knows what is behind the cladding. If we find something we stop, send photos and give a price for the extra work. You decide, wherever you are.
Can you live there during the work?
For cladding, windows and extensions yes. For kitchen and floors usually too with a bit of planning.
What if I have just bought the house?
Then we come and look before you decide anything. An hour walking round with Michiel often saves a wrong order of work and doing things twice.
