Decks, decking and saunas in Tingsryd and around
A deck in Småland has to take frost, a spring of meltwater and summers with sun from five in the morning. So we build on footings below the frost line, with air under the deck and joists that never sit on the ground. You do not see that when it is finished, but it is why the deck is still level in fifteen years.
We build decks in treated pine, larch and composite, with screens, railings and steps. And we build sauna buildings with a deck, from foundation to finished sauna.

Good to know
Do I need a permit?
Not if the floor is under 1.8 metres above ground and the deck stays within 3.6 metres of the house. Higher or further away needs a bygglov. We check with the municipality.
How long does it take?
Three to six working days for 25 m². A sauna building three to five weeks.
Treated pine or larch?
Treated pine is cheapest and lasts 20 years with oil every other year. Larch lasts longer and greys nicely without oil but costs 40 percent more.
Can it be ready when we arrive?
The most common question from abroad, and the answer is yes. Tell us when you are coming and we plan it before then.
